How to save on: Dry Cleaning

For some reason my favorite garments to wear seem to be those ones that are labeled DRY CLEANING ONLY. And though I love to wear them, I hate to have them dry cleaned as it gets quite expensive thus enters one of my favorite finds: DRYEL. This innovative system makes it possible to lightly dry clean at home. Now I am not saying it will have the same results as sending your suit to the cleaners to get starched and cleaned but it works quite well on those every day wear items. Honestly it is worth it alone for just the stain removing pen, which is one of the bests I have ever used.

And the website has $2 off coupons! Can't beat a coupon and not having to pay for dry cleaning!

  1. It can be pretty expensive to do frequent dry cleaning. I searched around for a while and ended up finding some dry cleaners in Provo who offer pretty good prices.

  4. My husband wears a nice suit everyday to work and we dry clean them at least once every two weeks. You can probably imagine that it would get expensive, which it does. I need to figure out a way to save a bit of money while still going to the dry cleaner in Springfield, IL. Thank you for all of the helpful tips! http://www.peerlessrestoration.com/services/dry-cleaners/

  6. Depending on how often you wear nicer clothes, the dry cleaning bill can get pretty high. I like to try and keep the clothes clean for as long as possible. The better you can maintain them, the less you have to take them to the dry cleaners.

  7. I once held a job that required I wear a suit every day. I wore a suit daily for 2 straight years. I didn't want to have to pay for dry cleaning, but I'll admit that every time I retrieved my suit from the cleaners I was a little more glad to put it on. I think I'll use your method for other dry clean items though.

  10. I want to get my church suit dry cleaned. My son was playing with a marker and he touched my suit coat as it lay on the back of a rocking chair the other day. I have no idea on if a dry cleaner can get permanent marker out of my suit?

  11. Dry cleaning as it seems from its name is not usually a dry process. This type of cleaning does require some amount of water and moisture to clean the dust away. This water or moisture does not however harm your carpet. This process is much drier than a steam one. Therefore majority of the people prefer dry cleaning over steam cleaning.

  13. Exactly how does the Dryel work? My husband works in a large corporate office and has to dress up every day. I have to take his suit into the dry cleaners weekly and they do a great job, but it would be nice to have an easy mid week clean up option.

  16. I'm in the same boat as you. I work in a professional setting, which usually means a suit and tie every day. I can't afford to dry clean my white shirts every other day. Something like this would help out a lot for the weekdays before I get to the cleaners on Saturday. | http://www.clothescleaningservicesbrooklyn.com
